The Pune Chapter of ASM International was founded in 1992. The Chapter operates under the guidance and direction of the Executive Council which consist of ASM members offering their support to the Chapter on a voluntary basis. The Pune Chapter has been and continues to further the mission of the society through monthly technical meetings, educational and training programs for industry and seminars and conferences on a wide ranging blend of materials related topics. Some of our initiatives include: Student Chapters and Materials Camp for high-school students, which have served to provide a unique opportunity to students to explore and to understand the world of Material Science and its applications.
